Choosing to stay single after a failed relationship doesn't always mean that one had not moved on. The truth is, 'really' moving on is oftentimes not achieved by entering a new relationship right after failing one. Oftentimes, we don't grow and improve if we continue being dependent or co-dependent on someone. Sometimes, we need a great time for our 'self' to learn how to fend, to enjoy and to love our 'individuality' first. In this case, we get the opportunity to build on our 'self', to become better persons, to evolve into better lovers and to prepare for the best one.
It does not matter what other people think or say, I don't live to please them. What matters is I've MADE the most of what I have, I had FUN, I LEARNED from what I've done and I've LIVED through it all despite the gossips and intrigues.

It’s frustrating to think that those people you love do not appreciate what you do for them. They complain all the time, they don’t see the value in what you’re doing for them to be happy. I just realized that you need no men’s approval and praise. From now on, I’m going to focus on what’s beneficial for me, I should stop being a martyr. I should be hard on myself so I can attain what I want in my life. It’s just me, myself and I.
